What kind of practical experiences have you had as part of the space studies program?

"We've done a balloon launch and rocket launches. We developed an entire rocket by ourselves and we also had the GOLDBERG experiment. Apart from that we are working on our team projects so everything has been hands on so far and we've had a lot of workshops as well.

My favourite thing has been the rocket launch. We were split into different teams where we built a rocket from scratch and then we had to recover two payloads, that is two eggs, and then we also had a 360 degree camera on top of it so our rocket was called the 'Eye of the Dragon'. We had to launch it and we retrieved the payload but one of the eggs broke but the whole trip was amazing."
