We welcome high achieving students from developing countries who are supported by the Australian government program, Australia Awards. We also host around 500 students who are sponsored by their home government, university or employer.
US students may be eligible for financial aid or GI Bill Benefits (US Veterans Affairs students can email us for more info or contact the Department of Veteran Affairs).

The University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide are combining their strengths to create a new university for the future, Adelaide University, opening in January 2026.
From 4 August 2025, the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia will no longer be accepting applications for new students.
