"I chose UniSA because the courses matched my program back in Denmark. I wanted to study overseas to improve my English skills, get an international network, try another university, get new experiences and I had always wanted to go to Australia."
"What I liked most about UniSA is that the classes were small and there was a lot of feedback when we got our assignments back. My favourite UniSA experience was the contact with the professors and the international exchange society.
I found the support from my lecturers and tutors at UniSA to be very good! The classes were very small, and I felt that the professors were very helpful and they were paying attention to me as an international student. I felt encouraged to work harder because they told me that they were looking forward to read my next assignment and to get some inputs from Denmark. The fact that they knew me as a person and not as a number, also made me work harder. It worked - I got really good grades.
I went to a lot of international student parties. The UniSA exchange society is really good."
"Adelaide's good weather makes a lot of activity possible, including going to the beach and barbequing in the city parklands.
I went to the Aquatic Centre twice a week, studied in State Library with some of my friends and I loved going to Central Market each Saturday to do my shopping. I enjoyed playing beach volley in Glenelg and going on different trips around Adelaide, e.g. Barossa Valley, Hahndorf, Cleland.
The highlight of living in Adelaide is the social relations. It really makes a big difference. Therefore the UniSA introduction week and the exchange society are extremely important and I consider them a highlight."
