“After I decided to study in Australia, I started to search about universities more modern, letting the 'old kind of teaching' behind and focusing in more realistic topics, as well as focusing on the future after University. I read about the Australian Technology Network, and its approach seemed really close to the features that I was trying to find. After this, I started to read about the universities and also about the cities, and the good grades that UniSA received in global ranks related with students in labour market and good universities under 50 years old made me chose UniSA.”
"The teaching staff were really helpful, and they are prepared to work with students who have English as a second language, helping us to understand and clarifying doubts. Besides this, the staff from the 'Learning and Teaching Unit' were really important, helping with the language used to write assignments and also to provide workshops where I could learn more about English.
'International Week' was an opportunity to meet different sorts of people who were in the same situation as me - living a completely new experience.
Another thing that made me enjoy studying at the University of South Australia was the resources available: modern classrooms, a huge amount of online books and articles, comfortable libraries operating until midnight and rooms where we could stay to study. I had classes mainly in City West Campus, and my favourite place is the Library! It is almost always open, you can read, use the computers, drink a coffee, study... it is such a good environment!"
"Adelaide is so beautiful, so organised and I enjoy so much the parks and squares in the city. I think Australian people are really open to international people, my arrival and adaptation was easier than I thought."
I came from a developing country, so Adelaide as a whole has features that are impressive for me - the infrastructure of public transport, security, cleaning and organisation. Also, Adelaide has a really nice climate and the quantity of festivals make the city more attractive."
"Do not be afraid to do an exchange program! I always heard that our childhood is our best time, but after my time here, I have to say that the exchange program is."
