Access study support to help you succeed
We know that studying at university is a new and different experience for many students, so we’re here to support you throughout your degree. UniSA offers a range of services to help you manage your studies and assignments. There’s a wide range of online learning resources available to you, and we also have a dedicated team to help you succeed. Additionally, we want to ensure your religious and spiritual needs are met, so you’ll find prayer rooms available on all campuses.
Explore your student living options
Finding the right accommodation is important to help you settle at university. Making the right accommodation choice can take time but it’s worth it. UniSA’s Accommodation Services team is here to provide you with guidance to find the right place for you, based on your budget and lifestyle needs.

Shape your own university journey
UniSA Student Association (USASA) is a not for profit, student-run organisation that exists to support the student body at UniSA. USASA provides services including the student board, advocacy, financial counselling, clubs and societies, social events, grants, UniSA merchandise and Verse magazine. All USASA services and support are free and available to all UniSA students. They aim to make your time at the University as fun and stress-free as possible.
Get involved with UniSA Sport
UniSA Sport is the gateway to all sport and recreation at the University of South Australia. As a student, you’ll benefit from indoor sport, fitness and aquatic facilities on each metropolitan campus. There are also more than 25 clubs to choose from, including sporting clubs, including rowing, netball, gridiron, rock climbing and even esports.

Your place for practical experiences
The University operates several clinics that are open to the general public, providing professional and cost-effective services (in some cases free) in the areas of health, law, marketing, and psychology. Services are delivered by students supervised by highly qualified and experienced professionals in their fields. We also offer services led by qualified and registered professionals.
Stand out from the crowd
Are you looking to become the best version of yourself, explore what leadership means to you, or simply improve your personal and professional skills? Whether you’re studying on campus or online, the University offers you opportunities to shape your own unique leadership and self-development journey through the UniSA+ Award and the ASPIRE Award Program. These programs have been carefully designed to prepare you for an increasingly competitive labour market as you pursue your chosen career.
Minimising barriers and maximising success
If you have a disability, mental health or chronic medical condition, or are the primary caregiver for someone who does, we encourage you to have a confidential chat with one of our Access and Inclusion Advisors about the free support and services that are available to our students. We can tailor an Access Plan to meet your individual circumstances and provide access to specialised services such as Auslan interpreting, transcriptions, assistive software, equipment, rest spaces and exam arrangements.
Feel connected while at university
UniSA’s Counselling Service offers free and confidential short-term counselling to students studying onshore in Australia – including specialised International Student Advisers. Counsellors are located across all metropolitan campuses with appointments available in person, by phone or online. Counsellors also offer personal wellbeing workshops on campus and provide a range of online self-help resources.

Feel inspired with our creative spaces
Across our campuses you’ll find dedicated galleries, museums and innovative centres. These spaces offer intriguing, thought-provoking, dynamic and a diverse range of art, exhibitions, public activities and events. You can glimpse the future at our museum of discovery (MOD.), the cosmos at the Adelaide Planetarium, the bold contemporary art at Samstag Museum of Art, or the innovative experimental works at the SASA Gallery.
Enjoy your new home
Adelaide is welcoming and multicultural and makes an ideal home away from home. It has all the advantages of big city life yet is small enough to get around easily. The University offers a range of activities designed to help international students feel at home, including the G’Day Mates program. New international students can enjoy opportunities to practice English, learn about Aussie culture, make new friends, connect with the Adelaide business community and more.
UniSA can take you even further
As a UniSA student, you can apply for a Student Exchange or Virtual International Experience. An exchange will allow you to study overseas at one of our partner institutions while staying enrolled at UniSA. Virtual international experiences are modelled off traditional Study Overseas program types, with the difference being that they are delivered virtually, and you take part in your own home, rather than overseas. Through these opportunities you can enhance your resume, connect with like-minded peers, gain credit towards your degree and develop new global networks.
