About Dr Steve Leib

Steve is the Program Director of the Bachelor of Aviation and Graduate Diploma of Aviation in UniSA STEM.  Originally from the United States, he is a certified FAA commercial pilot with instrument and multi-engine ratings. He holds both a doctorate and master’s degree from Purdue University, in aviation safety and aviation/aerospace management, respectively.   

As part of his academic development, Steve also spent several years in mainland China conducting research and teaching in aviation, as well as studying Chinese culture and society.  He is competent in multicultural projects and maintains an international network of aviation safety professionals.
