The University of South Australia is located in Adelaide, Australia’s education city. Accessible
Adelaide offers all the advantages of big city life but is still small enough to get around easily. It takes just 15 minutes to get from the airport to the city and 20 minutes from the city to the beach or hills. Students also benefit from discounted rates on public transport.

Multicultural
Almost one in four people in South Australia were born overseas with ancestry tracing back to more than 120 countries. Australia also has a democratic system of government and is accepting of different religious beliefs.

Affordable
Adelaide has one of the highest standards of living in the world, yet is one of the least expensive places to live. This means more money to spend on food, accommodation, supplied, travel and entertainment.
Schooling
The school year in South Australia runs from the end of January until the middle of December and is broken into four terms. There are two weeks of holidays at the end of terms one, two and three. A long summer holiday at the end of the school year includes a break at Christmas.
Most primary schools will either be from kindergarten (4 years old) to year six or seven, while high schools are from year seven to twelve. It’s worth noting that schools are zoned and usually only take enrolments from students that live in the surrounding suburbs.
