(Valid for 5 years)National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Screening (previously DHS Disability Services Employment Check) $64 Compulsory All students are required to hold a current Department of Human Services (DHS) screening check for 'NDIS Screening' prior to the commencement of any field placement (3rd year).
(Valid for 5 years)National Police Certificate (NPC) $68 Compulsory All students are required to have a National Police Certificate (NPC) through SAPOL or their home state police service prior to the commencement of any field placement (3rd year).

Tuberculosis - Student Health Care Workers must complete the online Tuberculosis screening questionnaire
(http://www.pages.on.net/questionnaire.php) and be given clearance from SA Tuberculosis Service prior to clinical placement in any SA Health facility.Compulsory Evidence of immunity to specific vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) is required prior to the commencement of any field placement (3rd year).
Immunisations costs will vary subject to individual requirements.
The University requires proof of your immunisation status through the completion of the Student Health Care Worker Immunisation Screening Questionnaire and Certificate of Compliance, found in the UniSA Immunisation Requirements for Placement package.Influenza Vaccination between $12-25 Compulsory Students must have an influenza immunisation every year whilst undertaking field placements.
