Any international student starting a new qualification in Adelaide in Semester 2, 2021 will be eligible to apply for the Urbanest Accommodation Support Scholarship. Recipients of this scholarship will be entitled to a 50% discount in the form of rental subsidy for a 6 or 12 months lease at Urbanest North Terrace.

Urbanest apartments are all inclusive, fully furnished and move in ready. Weekly rent includes utilities such as electricity, unlimited internet, 24 hour reception, gym and bike storage.

Recipients can choose between a private studio apartment or a room with a private bathroom in a shared apartment.

Room type: Single room with private bathroom in 6 person apartment
Full rate: $329 per week
50% scholarship rate: $164.50 per week
Bond payment: $658 (4 weeks rent)
Holding fee: $164.50 which will go toward the first week rent

Room type: Large studio with double bed and kitchen
Full rate: $469 per week
50% scholarship rate: $234.50 per week
Bond payment: $938 (4 weeks rent)
Holding fee: $234.50 which will go toward the first week rent

Scholarship criteria

  • Be a prospective international student (over 18 years of age)
  • Be eligible to study in Australia starting in Semester 2, 2021 (July intake)
  • Meet normal degree admission requirements for the degree applied into
  • Meet the minimum English language entry requirements for the degree applied into
  • Have accepted the UniSA offer for the degree applied into

Scholarship conditions

  • The scholarship cannot be deferred
  • Scholarship recipients must sign either a 6 or 12 months lease with Urbanest North Terrace
  • Scholarship recipients must pay a bond payment equivalent to 4 weeks rent 
  • Scholarship recipients must pay a holding deposit equivalent to 1 week rent at 50% discounted rate

Urbanest Accommodation Support Scholarships are not available to

  • Existing Urbanest residents

  2. Check entry requirements. Confirm you meet all entry requirements (English, academic and degree specific requirements) for your degree.
  3. Apply for your degree to start in Semester 2, 2021 (July intake).
  4. Once you have accepted your offer to start in Semester 2, 2021, you will receive an invitation to apply for this scholarship.
