Why did you choose to study at the University of South Australia (UniSA)?

"Apart from it being a widely acclaimed institution, the program itself is very conducive to our learning process in becoming Australian Nurses. Also, they are the only university that offers this program to international nurses who don't have their Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) eligibility yet. I chose Adelaide as many people gave me a lot of positive feedback about Adelaide and since the University I chose was here."

What are the benefits of UniSA and their teaching staff?

"The UniSA teaching staff are very accommodating and very much willing to help with queries and needs. All UniSA services are very helpful.

I did my student nurse placement and I learnt how to work and complete duties as an Australian Registered Nurse. I study at the City East campus. Since it is within the CBD I love its location. I use the Library and the Student Lounge. The campus is great, all the staff and students are very warm and friendly. It feels like a second home."

What are the benefits of UniSA and their teaching staff?

"My first impression of Adelaide was that it was very quiet and so laidback. I felt welcomed when I first arrived."

What is your advice to others?

"My advice is to always keep in contact with your family and friends at home for support and encouragement. It is not easy living and studying in a foreign country all by yourself. Enjoy it all!"
